Babies…  They really are a lot of fun.  So many cute little parts, new smiles, sweet baby noises.

My friends, Drew and Nicole, have three kids, and I have had the pleasure of photographing each of them.  When their first two child, Caeden, was born we took some cute feet pictures, which Nicole hung in her house.  Then when Tessa came along, we decided to take pictures of her hands for the frame.  So when Parker was born, we had a tough time deciding what to do for his picture.  Believe me, there were quite a few funny suggestions from well meaning friends… but Parker probably would have been embarrassed as he grew up.  So we went with his feet also.  So you get the idea, I’ll post all three images below.

Nicole’s frames all hang horizontally, which is why the image above was perfect, but I love this one below as well.  So sweet!

Parker is such a sweet little baby.  Who could resist this face?  Not me, that’s for sure.

A really fun part of being in the wedding business for almost 6 years now, is that my early clients, and some more recent clients, are starting to have babies.  Which opens up all kinds of photography possibilities, such as maternity and newborn images.  There is nothing better to me then getting to be so much a part of a family’s life.  From before the family begins, with engagement pictures, to the moment the family is formed, with the wedding, to when the family starts to grow, with the babies.  Such a joy to get to be a part of that!
