When my good friends Jen and Brian told us that they were having twins, we were kind of in disbelief. Happy for them, but also overwhelmed for them. They have two other beautiful children already, so this makes baby number 3 and 4, at the same time… four kids under the age of 7! I should mention that Jeff and I are self-committed “one-childers” and can’t even begin to imagine how we’d deal with one more kid, let alone three more at the same time. But if anyone can manage it, I know that these two can do it!
I got to meet the girls the other day, and spent about two hours just hanging out with them and their family. They are adorable to watch, whether it be sleeping, or well, sleeping… babies do a lot of that. So I’ll post of few of my favorites from our time together below. Such sweethearts! I can’t wait to see them running around in a few years.
My all time favorite thing to photograph on newborns… feet. I’m not sure if this is Isabella or Penny’s foot, I just know it’s cute.

I think it must sometimes be just awesome to be a twin. You automatically have a built in friend and snuggle partner.

Of course, at other times, it probably isn’t so fun… like when you’re laying there sleeping and then out of nowhere you get socked in the face.

Baby Issy fast asleep…

Baby Penny fast asleep…

Issy wakes up and gives us a little baby smile.

Penny stays asleep, but won’t be outdone by her sister, she also shares a little baby smile with us.

Another of the two of them snuggling together.

Issy being lovingly held and watched by her big sister, Maddi, and her Mommy.

Welcome to the world baby Penny and Baby Isabella! I look forward to watching you grow up, and taking lots and lots of pictures of you!

You have a great gift for photographing newborns. I love it. The gorgeous shot of the foot, the twins together…I love the third shot. It looks like they are having their first fight! :0) Way to go.
Thanks Andrea!
